As a person with sensitive but combination skin I find it difficult to find a good cleanser that combines everything I need. I suffer from dry patches around the nose and on the jaw line, and can get oilier in the T-Zone. Combine this with sensitive skin and it can be quite a handful to find skincare that does it all.

I’ve tried a lot of cleansers over the years, many of which have ended up straight in the bin, or passed on to family or friends. My skin can become easily irritated and it gets a rash like texture – aka bumpy and red.

The product has a screw cap which isn’t the most convenient if you’re trying to use this in the shower – a pump would be much more preferred, or alternatively a squeezy cap.

The Sanctuary Hot Cloth Cleanser is a really rich and creamy consistency which feels calm and soothing on the skin. It is a very thick cream but when rubbed between the fingers it turns smooth and creamy. I also find this is a really nice product to massage into the skin.

The product is naturally fragranced with plant extracts and essentials oils which gives it a lovely at home spa feeling. The muslin cloth included in the box is a nice size and helps to gently exfoliate the skin. It has a slightly rough texture to it but alongside the creaminess of the cleanser it allows for a gentle exfoliation to the skin.

I have used around six tubes of this product over the years and would highly recommend it. I feel it would be suitable to most if not all skin types – especially sensitive skin like mine.

Love, Luce ♥
